The conference will focus on knowledge exchange and networking among European SMEs, decision makers, AI innovators and academics in order to assess existing and potential future policy initiatives to support AI adoption. It is organised in the context of the initiative of the European Commission (by DG GROW with DG RTD, DG SANTE, DG CNECT, DG MOVE, JRC; and by EASME) on “Artificial Intelligence: Critical industrial applications for SMEs”.
In the framework of the conference, Emir Demircan, Director of Advocacy and Public Policy, SEMI Europe, will facilitate the workshop How to identify and build AI skills? Learn how to secure AI skills. The discussion will be informed by the skills intelligence work conducted in the METIS project.
